Same coach.
Any time zone.

Most online “coaching” is a PDF with your name typed at the top. This is the other thing: programming written for you, rewritten every week from your logs and your lift videos, with Daine on the other end of the messages, even when the other end is another continent.

The loop

Seven days, one rewrite

Remote coaching runs on a weekly cycle. This is one lap of it.

01 / TRAIN

You run the week's sessions on your own schedule, logging every set as you go. The plan fits your gym and your hours, not the other way around.

02 / FILM

Working sets get filmed. Not for the highlight reel, but so Daine can see exactly what your last rep looked like, from the angle that shows the truth.

03 / REVIEW

Daine goes through the logs and the footage, answers what came up during the week, and flags what he's seeing before it turns into a plateau or a tweak.

04 / REWRITE

Next week's programming lands adjusted (loads, exercises, volume) before your next session. Not at the end of a twelve-week block.

Then it starts again. Your program is never more than a week old, not a twelve-week template quietly going stale while your body moves on without it.

How it holds up

This is not an app

Elsewhere on this site it says an app can’t coach you. Still true, and nothing about this is an app. Online coaching is Daine, working from the evidence instead of the gym floor: your logs, your lift footage, and your questions travel one way; his programming and corrections travel back the other.

What you give up is the in-the-moment spot. What you keep is the part that compounds: a plan that reacts to what actually happened, every week, from a coach who has spent twenty years watching lifters make the mistakes you’re about to make. Filmed at the right angle, a breaking rep is just as visible from three thousand miles away.

Fit

Who this is built for

You know the barbell

You can squat, hinge, and press safely without a hand on your back. Online coaching sharpens technique; it doesn't teach it from zero.

Your schedule won't sit still

Shift work, travel, kids. Sessions happen whenever your day allows, and the coaching keeps up either way, because the check-in doesn't care what time zone you filed the logs from.

There's no Daine near you

You moved away, or you were never in New Jersey to begin with. The programming and the standard travel; the zip code stops mattering.

Never trained before? Start with 1-on-1 personal training if you can get to Bergen County. Form is learned in person, then it travels. If you can’t, say so when you get in touch and Daine will tell you honestly whether online can work for where you’re starting.

Questions

Before you get in touch

How is this different from a workout app?

An app sells you a program; this is a coach. Your programming is written for you and rewritten every week based on your logs and lift videos, by Daine rather than an algorithm. The plan changes because he watched your last session, not because a timer ran out.

What does a check-in actually look like?

You log your training and film your working sets as you go. Once a week Daine goes through all of it, answers your questions, and adjusts the next week's programming. Between check-ins, you can message him when something comes up.

I've never lifted before. Can I start online?

Honestly, it's usually not the best first step, because the big lifts are learned fastest with a coach in the room. If you're near Bergen County, start with 1-on-1 sessions and go online once your form is solid. If you're not, tell Daine where you're starting and he'll say honestly whether online can work for it.

What equipment do I need?

A commercial gym membership covers it, and a home or garage setup works too. Daine writes the programming around what you actually have access to, not around a fantasy gym.
